Maleah Walker (LeeLee) is a Senior at UNC Charlotte, majoring in Media & Technology Communications with a minor in Journalism. She’s been part of the SAFE program since her freshman year—starting as a mentee, then stepping up as a mentor, and now proudly serving as a coordinator. LeeLee credits much of her personal and professional growth to being part of such a supportive and empowering community.

When she’s not working or in class, you can find her vibing at live music spots, performing or writing spoken word, or conducting interviews—something she’s passionate about as a future media professional.
