Giavonni Free

Major: Dance Education

 

Giavonni Free is a senior majoring in dance education. She hopes to pursue a career as a dance educator and teach dance in the public school system. Giavonni started off with SAFE as a mentee, then mentor for two years and now serves as the coordinator of Outreach & Community Engagement. She found SAFE to be her first sense of community coming to Charlotte and hope that first year students can feel the same way too. 

 

Outside of SAFE, you can find her serving as the president of Curl Conversations Club and giving tours with Niner Guides. Giavonni also enjoys thrifting, swimming and enjoying a sweet treat.
