SAFE Madness

SAFE Madness is a 3 vs 3 basketball tournament for SAFE students and Alumni to compete in. Our hope is that this event will bring current and past SAFE students together in celebration and support of this historic program. All proceeds from the event will go directly to supporting future SAFE programs and initiatives.

This years SAFE Madness is Saturday, March 22nd in Belk Gym. Doors open at noon and games begin at 12:30pm. Details regarding team registration and admission tickets can be found below.

Team Registration

Team registrations are open from February 21st to March 14th. For questions please contact safe_program@charlotte.edu.

  • Teams must complete the form below to register. After teams have registered a link will be sent in 1-2 business days to complete payment. Team sign ups are at a first come first serve basis with 24 team slots total. All teams must be have their registration fees paid by March 16th at 5pm or they will lose their spots. 
  • It is $10 per person to play.
  • Teams can range from 3-6 people.
  • Team registrations must be purchased together. No individual purchases are permitted and a team captain must be designated at the time of purchase.
